PARABOLA: The Search for Meaning

Mysterium Temporis Christianae

My article on the mystery of time from the perspective of the Christian tradition appears in the 50th anniversary issue of Parabola magazine, a journal with a different theme every quarter and devoted to the symbols, myths, and religious traditions of our diverse world. Over the past half-century, Parabola has published the work of Joseph Campbell, Italo Calvino, Martin Scorsese, and Ursula K Le Guin, among other distinguished contributors.

Book Reviews

For the 40th anniversary issue of the James Dickey Review, I wrote two book reviews, one about Robert Morgan’s new biography of Edgar Allan Poe, and the other about Margaret Gibson’s latest collection of poetry. Published by Reinhardt University, the JDR was founded to honor the legacy of one of the great poets, critics, novelists, and speakers of Georgia.

Morningside Neighbors

Every month for the Morningside Neighbors Magazine, I interview a different family and write their story to share with their community. One of over 1,300 publications offered every month by Best Version Media, my work with local families keeps me grounded in Atlanta life, allows me to meet some remarkable people, and helps me exercise my interview and storytelling skills.
